Ah, Dorohedoro. Where do I even begin with this manga? Well for starters, the world building, character design and dialogue is nothing short of perfect for me. You can truly tell the mangaka put their all into it. So much logic for the way things work in this world. And so much to learn. There is so much humor in this manga. If you enjoy comedies such as "Arrested Development", "The office" and similar shows/movies, you'll find yourself chuckling at some of the dialogue and panels in this manga. It did take me a while to finish it because I'm lazy, but with only 167 chapters, one could easily finish this manga in about two or three weeks depending on your dedication lol. All that to say, this manga is the perfect length. As for the content, I always have a hard time describing what exactly Dorohedoro is about. One could describe it as a mystery, or even a thriller. I always just say its a mystery story involving magic and friendship. Speaking of friendship, I can't say enough about how much I adore Caimen And Nikaido's friendship. Just the purest of friendships I may have ever read in any manga. These two are perfect for each other , and I love how the manga approaches their friendship. Not /every/ relationship between a guy and gal (or in this case, multiheaded lizard) must be romantic. It was so satisfying to see it all work out in the end with them. I daydream about these two. They are just such cute characters that are easy to love. Some small critics I have about Dorohedoro is the amount of mystery present in the story. The story doesn't really dot all it's I's and cross all it's T's by the time it ends. Some love this aspect, including me. Who doesn't love a mystery? But at times it is just so hard to follow. I was left slightly confused by the end. But with the amount of internet these days, you can find the answers to any of the mysteries in Dorohedoro with ease. Another critic is the art. With how lose and "sketchy" it is, it reminds me of a rough draft. I can tell this is just the artist's style, but it makes a lot of panels in the later chapters hard to read. This makes the manga tough to get into for beginners I'd say. Not that every manga has to be for beginners, but I just simply wouldn't reccommend it for someone who just got into manga. This is a great manga to read once you've read one or two. :) Overall, this is my favorite manga. I'd give it 9/10!
